terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions shall apply to all orders placed with Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd. All terms and conditions are subject to change at any time and will be published on our website at www.ceramicstudios.co.uk  

Any orders or instructions received by Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd shall be construed as an acceptance of the terms and conditions for the supply of goods [and services] provided by Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd. Upon acceptance of these terms and conditions by the Customer, the terms and conditions are binding and can only be amended with the written consent of Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd. 

Case Acceptance 

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd reserves the right to decline an order for the goods provided.

  • Any instruction received from the Customer for the supply of goods or services shall constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions. 

  • Any restoration must be inserted by a licensed, practising dentist.

Price and Payment

  • Prices for the goods will be stated in a price list provided by Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd to the Customer. 

  • Statements are sent at the end of each calendar month.

  • All accounts are strictly net and are payable within 30 days of invoice. 

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd will charge interest on overdue accounts at a rate of 5% per month which will be applied to the total amount outstanding including any previous interest charged.

  • Queries on invoices must be notified within 14 days. 

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd reserves the right to check the credit rating of any Customer.

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd will accept payment via credit card, bank deposit or cheque.

  • All major credit cards accepted. 

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd reserves the right to hold casework if the Customer’s account falls overdue.

  • If accounts are not paid in full within 90 days, Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd reserves the right to take action to recover the outstanding invoice(s). Any costs incurred in the recovery of unpaid accounts will be at the Customer’s expense. This includes debt collection costs, legal costs and court costs.

  • Any product that has been supplied by Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd, remains the property of Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd until the product is paid in full.

Sending Work

  • When sending in work, the laboratory prescription docket must be filled in clearly and marked as NHS or PRIVATE. 

Collection and Delivery

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd provides courier service to and from our laboratory.

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd takes no responsibility for work that is damaged, delayed or lost in transit. 

  • The Customer takes responsibility for packaging casework for safe travel to Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd. 

  • The Customer takes the responsibility to ensure their premises are accessible and open for couriers to collect casework. 

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd will only deliver casework to the business address of the Customer. 

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd takes responsibility for the return of casework back to the Customer. 

  • We offer a daily collection and delivery service and can offer an express service for more urgent cases by arrangement. Please ensure that requested finish dates are at least 1 day before the patient’s appointment, as we cannot guarantee the time of delivery on any given day.  

Turnaround Times 

  • Normal turnaround times for casework are between 5 and 10 in-lab days, depending on the product. This is based on the assumption that all materials and information required for successful completion is provided to Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd at the time of case submission. 

  • If Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd requests more information from the Customer, the Customer accepts that delays may be incurred if not answered in a timely manner. 

  • If Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd requests new impressions or materials from the Customer, delays will occur. 

  • Cases may take longer than the standard turnaround time where there are technical queries from Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd technicians, potential problems to discuss, or where photographs are requested. 

Medical Advice 

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd will discuss the manufacture, delivery and properties of the goods with the Customer via email or telephone. 

  • The Customer acknowledges that such discussions are limited to the properties and characteristics of the goods generally and do constitute any representation, recommendation, advice or warranty by Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd and that Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd does not take any responsibility for advising on the suitability of any product or any treatment for any patient whatsoever. 

  • The Customer is responsible for deciding on the suitability of the work for the patient.  

  • In no event shall Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd be liable to any patients of the Customer for any damages resulting from any use of any restoration or otherwise. 

Warranty and Guarantee 

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd offers a 2-year warranty on fixed crown and bridge restorations from date of dispatch to the Customer. 

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd guarantees the work to be free from defects due to materials and workmanship and the appliance is guaranteed to fit the provided model and to be constructed to the specification set out by the prescription form. 

  • A 2 year warranty on removable restorations, splints and sleep devices from the date of dispatch to the Customer. 

  • All other appliances are warrantied for a period of 2 years from the date of invoice. 

  • Warranty is void for removable prosthetics that are made without a try-in/setup procedure. 

  • The original restoration must be returned for inspection to be eligible for warranty. 

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd will not compensate any individual patient, in the event a product fails to meet the required prescription.

Exclusions

  • The following is not covered under our warranty: 

    • Cash refunds

    • Costs incurred for the removal or insertion of any product

    • Remakes due to accident, neglect, abuse, failure of supportive tooth structure or tissue structures, improper adjustments or poor dental hygiene

    • Restorations partially or wholly fabricated by any other laboratory other than Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd

Remakes Policy

  • If new implant componentry is required for a remake this will incur an additional charge.

  • If Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd deem that the damage of the warranted case has not been caused by the manufacturing process they have the right to void the warranty.

  • If an account is overdue Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd will not process the remake until the account is rectified. 

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd reserves the right to charge of a case value for a remake based on the following factors:

    • A remake is requested and there is a change of original shade

    • A remake is requested and the original materials or appliance are not returned

    • The reason for the remake is not specified.

    • A remake is requested and there is a material change

    • A remake is requested 30 days from the invoice date

  • Remakes and adjustments will be carried out free of charge providing the original impression is not at fault and, that any Alloy is returned.

  • The Customer is solely responsible for any additional costs and charges incurred through changing instructions from the original prescription.

  • By fitting the appliance the Customer accepts that Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd has produced the appliance to the specification and satisfaction of the Customer.

  • Appliances are constructed to the specification prescribed on the laboratory docket. Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd is not responsible for the suitability of that specification. Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd endeavours to interpret and follow the Customer’s instructions correctly. If however a mistake is made on our part, Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd will rectify the situation free of charge. Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd will not compensate dentist’s fees, consequential losses or expenses of any kind.

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd will replace the product to the original specification for any defects that may occur as a result of the manufacturing process. 

  • Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd is not responsible for any additional costs or fees associated with adjustments, repairs and replacement of dental devices. 

  • If a new impression is requested by Ceramic Studios Premier Ltd, but is instructed to proceed without the new impression, the warranty shall be void. Remakes will be completed at full cost.
